Sean Betesh, DPM

Dr. Sean Betesh, DPM joined Premier Podiatry & Orthopedics at the Carmichael and Roseville offices in January 2019.

A native of New England, Dr. Betesh was born and raised in Connecticut and attained his bachelor’s degree in human physiology from Boston University.

After undergrad, Dr. Betesh moved to Iowa and earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. He graduated among the top of his class with Pi Delta honors and was president of the student chapter of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

After graduation, Dr. Betesh continued his training with a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, CT, where he focused on sports medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and diabetic limb salvage.

Having spent the previous year in private practice treating patients in Carson City and Gardnerville, Nevada, Dr. Betesh is excited to take his knowledge and expertise to the California side of Lake Tahoe.

As an avid runner, you can find him outside of the office on dirt or pavement from Folsom to Auburn. He grew up a multi-sport athlete and also enjoys hiking, golfing, and skiing. He understands what you’re going through, not only from a doctor’s perspective, but from an athlete’s perspective, too!

Other passions include do-it-yourself projects and traveling to new places—albeit mostly for the cuisine!

Dr. Betesh relocated to the greater Sacramento area for proximity to his wife, the delicious food, and the meandering trails.
